Covering the fundraising ball for the Airedale Hospital and Charity is always a pleasure.
This year’s was even more special, marking the charity’s 30th anniversary.
Those attending the event at East Riddlesden Hall, Keighley, had a whale of a time and helped boost the hospital charity’s coffers by more than £11,000 on the evening.
The barn at the National Trust property is very photogenic (if a little dark from a photographer’s perspective) and is a great location for the charity ball.
From my point of view, it’s such a pleasure to see people, including some hospital staff, having a great evening in a good cause.
The money raised on the evening contributed to the emergency department appeal launched by the charity to raise £150,000 to rejuvenate the paediatric waiting room, paediatric resuscitation area and bereavement suite of Airedale Hospital’s emergency department.
